Today the Centaur, Chiron, the Wounded Healer and keeper of traditions, goes before the sun. The individual names for these stars indicate the nature of the constellation is one of The Sin Offering, The Pierced, and The Despised.
Those people and relationships born under these stars are thoughtful, meditative, patient, and considerate. The wise and prudent will consider her actions and issues through this lens.
Mercury, our orb of communication, flips backwards at 0 degrees of sidereal Libra, back into sidereal Virgo and so much nit picking goes into any reconciliation, if that is even possible.
Mercury will stay off track, retrograde till 8 17 AM Seattle time on Monday October 18th, storming until Friday the 22nd. Think of it as a months vacation, during which we can explore our anxieties and frustrations. Be ready for it, we have a month to foul up!
Venus the Golden Girl will balance into her autumnal home sign of Libra, where we are calm, beauty loving, harmony seeking, and fair, or am I dreaming? She reigns here just as Jupiter backs into sidereal Capricorn as the Cornucopia. What fruits will we receive???
Mars falls in sidereal Virgo and that nit picking takes on a life of its own! We would more wisely put Martian energies to work plowing under our pride and false hopes, to sow a more Christian crop.
Jupiter falls backward into sidereal Capricorn, bringing magnification to the government and its' doings.
Saturn in his own sign of sidereal Capricorn is what is keeping the status quo in government, and that is all that is weighing the current administrations in place. He enters his coruled sign of sidereal Aquarius in May 2022, then backs down again in June for one of his long vacations until January 2023. Remember he is joint chief of Aquarius along with Jupiter, and with Uranus in the modern school. While this seems like a contradiction, remember boundaries have to be pioneered by Aquarians, and that sets a whole new set of boundaries.
Uranus in Aries always brings our independence to the fore! Will power, adventure, ambition, and the urge to fight over it.
Neptune in late Aquarius seems to be responsible for all the technological advances, and the fact that they are leading us to an amorphous network of consciousness that doesn't mix will with Aries Uranus.
Pluto at the tail end of sidereal Sagittarius is shedding light and heart on the state of higher education and it shows!!
The sun falls into the sign of the Celestial Gardener on the 18th, a Saturday. The full moon of September is Pisces for both seasonal and sidereal; the heavens agree!! That Wednesday sees the autumnal equinox, when the sun will enter seasonal Libra at 12 21 PM Pacific time.
Mercury will retrograde on Sunday September 26th at 10 10 PM Pacific time. Be ready for it, we have a month to prepare!
Virgo sprawls across the heavens, a star-spangled Great Lady with an ear of grain in one hand and a branch in the other. We can read of her in the Revelation of St. John of Patmos in chapter 12, 'And then a great wonder appeared in heaven: There was a woman who was clothed with the sun, and the moon was under her feet. She had a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out with pain because she was about to give birth... 5. The woman gave birth to a son, who would rule all the nations with an iron rod. And her child was taken up to God and to his throne. The woman ran away into the desert to a place that God had prepared for her. There she would be taken care of for 1260 days.'
Ain't that America?
Our morning star, the sun, whisks through virtuous Virgo, swirling silken silver blue studded with white wisps of angel hair. Virgo is the sign under which the United States was born and first settled in 1607. The constellation Virgo is usually associated with the Greek goddess of justice, Dike. Dike was the daughter of Zeus and Greek Titaness Themis. Virgo is usually depicted with angel-like wings, with an ear of wheat in her left hand, marked by the bright star Spica. She is located next to Libra, the constellation representing the scales of justice. Dike was also sometimes known as Astraeia, daughter of Astraeus, considered father of the stars, and Eos, goddess of the dawn.
Dike lived in the Golden Age of mankind. She was born a mortal and placed on Earth to rule over human justice. The Golden Age was marked by prosperity and peace, everlasting spring, and humans never knowing old age. When Zeus fulfilled the old prophecy and overthrew his father, this marked the beginning of the Silver Age, which was not as prosperous. Zeus introduced the four seasons and humans no longer honored the gods as they had used to do. Dike gave a speech to the entire race, warning them about the dangers of leaving behind the ideals of their predecessors and saying worse was yet to come. Then she flew to the mountains, turning her back on humans. When the Bronze and Iron Ages came and humans started warring among themselves, Dike left the Earth altogether, and flew to the heavens.
In other stories, the constellation Virgo is identified with Demeter, the Great Mother.
The sign of Virgo reclines across the heavens from September 22nd through October 20th. The Ancients considered that the stellar year began with this sign, which champions motherhood, agriculture, and the feeding of the masses.
In the skies, Virgo is a woman crouched over, protecting a seed or sheaf cradled in her arms. Her ancient name is House of Bread, or Bethlehem.
A dark horrid monster menaces The Woman, and her seeds, with threatening claws so huge they trail away into the sweep of Libra. Her hair takes up a constellation of it's own, called Coma; a second constellation makes her The Despised. This woman is obviously Eve, the long despised and blamed, whose seed is threatening to that of the menacing serpent.
What a refreshing view God has made of our first mother!! No more shame, no more blame, no more keeping silence when the hand of YHVH has put her form in heaven as our progenitor. No wonder Mary, mother of Jesus, is hailed as the second Eve!
The swift angel of communication, Mercury, is close to Virgo holding her chief tools: discernment, patience, and victory (Revelation 3:8 & 9).
Virgos beautiful hair also links her to the woman who anointed Jesus' feet at the Last Supper. This woman may, or may not, have been Mary of Magdalene.
The names of the stars of the sign itself include Who Shall Come Down, to the Branch Who Comes, who is The Deliverer, the Seed of Corn (Spica), The Branch, Who Shall Come Down and Have Dominion, Gloriously Beautiful, The Deliverer, Who Carries.
The entire Pacific Ocean, including Hawaii and Alaska, are Virgo Territories!

The Virgo nature encompasses strength, as in the Tarot card of that name, and even more importantly, adaptability. Virgo is a scientist, a physicist, an explorer and a healthy sceptic. She is both a reliable leader and a valuable team player and support system! Virgo is punctual and self-reliant, dependable, and a real cramp in the gut when being antagonistic.
Virgo has the strength of adaptability, both to new things and discovering the new. Fresh, new thoughts make Virgo a valuable team player and great supporter, owing to her clarity of mind, combined with a passionate and giving nature. Unbalanced, she can struggle to trust her heart and what she really feels with what she rationalizes as being the "correct thing to do".
The distressed Virgo in the World will struggle and flail with irreconcilable skepticism, pitting their rationality and reason against what they know in their hearts. Lime (Yellow/Green) energy helps release toxins from the body as well as in the thoughts. That particular shade of yellow-green (lime) energy helps release toxins from all the bodies, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Remember this when Virgo turns toxic in behavior!! Use limes in cool ice water to counter their effects.
When one lacks the ability to change, or is entertaining too many negative thoughts, the yellow-green vibration shifts stuck energy and supports the mind toward more positive thinking.
Rosemary and Eucalyptus oils can be anointed to create a mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually balanced blend.
All green and yellow foods will aid the digestive system.
The Celestial Gardener is the Life source of the universe.
And to the Raphael who guides the congregation of Virgo, write:
'So I say, as the true faithful witness of the creation of the entire universe by Yahweh,
'You are the walking dead. If you were hateful and rejected Me, or became too intense, I could stand it, I would know there was some hope for us; but you are just going through the motions. There is no more heart in you. You have become numb and lame and zombified.
'You say you don't need Me anymore, that you can take care of yourself and you are just fine on your own.
'You have no idea how awful you look from here.
'I am only saying this because I love you and I don't want anything to fall on you like it is about to; it's a harsh, unkind, uncaring world and it will rend you apart. You don't see that because you believe in yourself; well I believe in you, too, so believe in Me!
'I am right here, at the door, hoping you will open it for me and things will be like we planned. I want you to be sitting at the table with me in the New Eden in the Restored Earth, just as we will sit together beside Yahweh, at the center of existence.
Say this to ALL the churches!'
To Virgo through the angel Raphael, otherwise known as the orb Mercury, who is in charge of all those people, places, and issues, as illustrated by his guidance of Laodecia. Some modern students of the Scriptures think that the Laodecian attitude is too much like our own times to dismiss. The keyword these profound seers repeat is 'indifference', and the major crime is blown opportunity. Mercury's angel Raphael is the angel of communication; in this century we have unlimited access to knowledge, communication, and exchange of ideas.
How do we employ this unique gift of human technology? Have we spread the gospel in our own words? Been encouraging, uplifting, loving to each other?
In a starkly truthful and unvarnished letter, the church of Laodecia receives little favor in the Lords eyes.
To Raphael, Jesus has nothing good to say at all; rather He complains that the whole church is limp and tepid in its' fervor. The shallowness of character is evinced by a luxurious lifestyle in spiritual poverty; the walking dead, as it were.
In this letter, the last to the angels of the planets, and to us, He says: 'Here I Am!! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear My voice and open to Me, I will come in and sup with you.' Revelation 3:20. What an awesome invitation!
Further, Jesus counsels the church to buy gold refined in the fire, white clothes, and eye salve, from Him, when we invite Him in for our meal.
Jesus says to us, "I am the gate; if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." John 10:9
The sun, our daystar, assumes the glorious golds, oranges, tans, and russets of autumn, in Leo, the celestial prowler. The ancient Egyptians thought so highly of the cat who guarded the grain, so necessary to life, that they made her a god, and decorated every wall of every structure with her image. Cats have never forgotten this, and neither have we, if FaceBook is any proof of modern life.
The sign of the royal Cat boasts the summer Royal Star Regulus at its' heart, which signifies Treading Underfoot; and also the Judge Who Comes Quickly (Denebola), The Exaltation, The Shining Forth, The Joining, and The Enemy Put Down.
Judging by the names of some of the other stars in the sign, while in Leo we ourselves are most concerned about Rending Asunder that which is evil, or wasted; Leaping Forth in defense of the weak and dumb; honoring The Lord Who Comes Quickly; and giving God The Exaltation. It is now that the lavish pageants and parties take place, whose host is jovial, genial, and sunny!
Have you read The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis? Seen the movie?? It's all about Christianity!!
The head of the sphynx is that of a lion, with the full bosom of a blossoming virgin, the wings of an eagle, and the feet and tail of a bull.
Leo is the seat of the chief royal fixed star, the healing Archangel Raphael, the watcher of the North, Regulus. Regulus in some ancient views was regarded as having as much strength and importance as a planet in its' own right.
The Apostle Mark, as the first hagiographer of the Gospels, has his place here in Leo, along with the angel of Regulus appearing as a winged lion with a stylus and scroll.
Leo is the heart of the zodiac, the golden sun, the rose of the garden, especially loved by Christ!
Sometimes this makes Leo a little too confident.
Leos' geographic territories are the Bering sea, and the Northern and south Pacific seas, to New Zealand.
Extroverted, outgoing, cheerful, generous, and exceptionally creative, Leo is just as sensitive within. Leo loves to entertain lavishly and invented the concept of inclusion.
Know Leo by her sunny smile! The Boss of the Zodiac, Leo is very organized, this extending even to our private lives, and we may find ourselves busy trying to sort ourselves out. Sometimes this is seen as a need for control, bossiness, or becoming full of ourselves. However, while the sun is in sidereal Leo we tend to observe boundaries, as doing the right thing has become important. We can help others anonymously, without taking credit for it. We can expect to be much more neighborly, slightly extroverted, outgoing, cheerful, generous to a higher degree and exceptionally creative!
The golds, yellows, bronzes, oranges of autumn are all Leo shades. These hues are those most attractive to those who love to learn, the naturally curious, the most intelligent. Leo wants to know how everything works, why it is so, how long it has been since an improvement has been made!
The Leo nature is intellectual, all about the mind and it's power. As such, they can deny their emotions, true feelings and inner thoughts. Suppression can be a real monster!! We can use the colors of introspective autumn to become more compassionate and understanding towards the self. Take time to purify the body, mind and spirit with a yellow soap or shower gel first thing, and try a slice of fresh lemon to your drinking water. Rosemary, lemon, frankincense can be used to help aid digestion and release all kinds of toxic waste.
Yellow music would be Tibetan Bells or Crystal Bowls.
