Those people and relationships born under these stars are adventurous, fearless, and forceful, very courageous, and determined to succeed.

Draco the Dragon dominates the morning sky during the last ten days of Sag.  This is the polar constellation, whose star Thuban was once the North Star.  The individual names for the stars indicate the nature of the constellation is one of The Trodden Upon, The Subtle, The Fraudulent,  and The Cursed.

The December SkyDance

The sun shoots into Sagittarius on the 21st of November at 7 34 PM Pacific time.

The December new moon falls with a solar eclipse on Friday the 3rd, in seasonal Sagittarius. Time for self-reflection, deep and true!

Mercury, our orb of communication, shoots through Sag, and we will find we do indeed have a great deal to celebrate!!  Brighter mood and thoughts abound.

Mercury will rise to the Top of the zodiac, Capricorn, on the 13th of December at 9 52 AM.  We will be talking to some purpose!!  He will retrograde staring the 14th of January in seasonal Aquarius, till February 3rd. Plan ahead!!

Venus enters Capricorn as Mars arrives triumphant in Scorpio... it is going to fly, Star Travelers!

Venus retrogrades through Capricorn this year starting the 19th, the day after the full moon in Gemini.  We will see some changes in our social circle and in our use of social media.

Mars in Scorpio is at home!!  He rules Scorpio in the classic tradition, and it shows.  We are full of fight to win!

Mars will shoot into Sag on the 13th of December to put some real kick into our kick***.

The Winter Solstice falls on the 21st, a Tuesday, at 7 59 PM Pacific time, when the sun will enter seasonal Capricorn.  Christmas Eve falls that Friday.  A week later we bid goodbye to 2021 on Friday the 31st.

Jupiter sails through seasonal Aquarius, full of new ideas and concepts.

The king rocks on into Pisces in December of this year, and emotions swell, as does art and drama.  Holy cow!!

Saturn rules Aquarius, don’t forget, so this explains the current darkness in ideas and impulses.  As his transit through seasonal Aquarius doesn’t hold the fort for the current administration, we can expect some serious changes in this area in March of 2023, not so far away!

Uranus in Taurus disrupts the boundaries of nations.  Well no kidding!  I so hope we are still alive to see his further changes in April 2026, when he dances into Gemini.

Neptune rules Pisces along with Jupiter, which is just behind in Aquarius.  We can expect ups and downs until he roars into Aries in late January 2026.

Pluto in Capricorn disrupts all governments.  I don’t know how to take that one, do you????

The new moon of 2022 falls on Sunday January 2nd in seasonal Capricorn, at 10 33 AM Pacific time.  Mercury will have just entered seasonal Aquarius.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius

In Daniel 2:47 the king said to Daniel, “Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery.”

Sagittarius shoots across the skies from December 15th through January 15th.

We have always thought that Simon Peter must have been a Sagittarius;  blustery, flustery, endearing, saying the wrong thing at the worst time, with the best of intentions causing disaster everywhere he went... he must have been a Sag with red hair!  In the end he betrayed who he loved most, not once but three times.

And how Jesus loved him!  Before, during, and after!

It is an object lesson for all of us.  What we love the most, we will eventually betray, because it is our nature to do so.  God loves us in spite of what He knows we will eventually do; He saves us from our debased core and raises us up to shine like the sun.

The picture of Sagittarius is that of a man and a horse, but in the Christian view this exaltation is that of man to the heights of a saint.

In traditional understanding Sagittarius is Christ Triumphant in Revelation 19:  ‘I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice He judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on His head are many crowns. He has a name written on Him that no one knows but He Himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following Him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Coming out of His mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On His robe and on His thigh He has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

That pretty much seems to seal it!!

The letter of Christ to the angel of Sagittarius is of great interest and import to those living on the east coast of North America, and all of South America minus the tip of Brazil;  and Costa Rica and Panama.

The Sagittarian native is proverbially happy-go-lucky!  Good natured, optimistic, almost Pollyanna, he is the most fun, uplifting, encouraging of knights.  He is also the most socially oriented and popular!

Judging the character by the names of the stars in the sign, the Sagittarius knight Gracious, Delighted In, Going Forth Swiftly, and The Bowman Who Strives Continually.

Sagittarius is all about the Blue!!

Sagittarius is not the most graceful communicator, in fact faux pas is surely his native description.  But it is what one knows that matters, rather than what one says.

Blue energy connects to higher dimensions and translates information from the spiritual realm into the physical world. It is this wisdom that the Sagittarian understands, but only when in complete balance.

Blue energy connects to the throat; the lesson being that the Sagittarian is to learn how to speak their inner truth with grace.

Geranium, chamomile, peppermint or cypress oils can be used in correlation to blue, and the throat can be energised with a cup of blue tea.  Blue foods include blueberries, plums, blackberries, asparagus and fish.

Wear blue gemstones, such as sodalite, lapis lazuli or blue agate, and nurture yourself by using blue to relax after a hectic day.
